Rooted in truth, grown with heart.
At Farmer Shannon, we’re passionate about reconnecting people with the land through honest, engaging education about agriculture and farm life. Whether you're a curious consumer, an aspiring homesteader, or someone who simply loves learning where your food comes from, you’ll find something here for you. From everyday farm experiences to in-depth guides on sustainable practices, our mission is to bridge the gap between the farm and your fork — with stories, science, and a whole lot of dirt-under-the-nails wisdom.
Let’s grow something good together.
A farm girl at heart — teacher, artist, animal mom and advocate for the land.
Hi, I’m Shannon! I grew up in rural Montana on a small family farm where my love for animals and agriculture first took root. Today, I still have a small farm, where I care for sheep, horses, alpacas and other farm critters. I’m a weaver, spinner, and fiber artist, creating beauty from the wool grown right here on the farm.
But more than anything, I’m a teacher at heart. I’m dedicated to helping others understand the value of agriculture, sustainable farming, homesteading, traditional crafts, and old-fashioned cooking. Our farm is also a sanctuary — a safe, loving home for animals of all kinds.
Through Farmer Shannon, I hope to inspire, educate, and reconnect people with the roots of rural life. Whether you’re here to learn, explore, or just soak in a bit of farm wisdom — welcome.
